Thurrock African Group (TAG) is a community/ voluntary organisation, with key priorities of supporting Africans living or working in Thurrock, as well
as facilitating community cohesion, as beneficiaries of services we offer
are not limited to BME communities but the wider Thurrock community.
TAG have been able to partner with local establishments to provide advocacy
service, healthy lifestyle programme, conference and seminar such as money
matters, diversity & equality training and supported Legal advice providers
which provides free advice directly to members, while we also sign post
people to appropriate statutory providers of services in resolving personal
problems, and helping them achieve better quality of life. Using our pool of
contacts TAG have also run ESOL English courses with examinations monitored
