NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

I am pleased to invite you to the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Thurrock African Group on Thursday 04th July 2013 at 6:30pm.

The meeting will be held in the main hall of  The Beehive V & C Resource Centre, West Street , Grays, Essex RM17 6XP.

The AGM is our most important meeting of the year; where we elect members to important roles to help in the smooth running of the organisation. Please make every effort to attend this meeting.

Please find enclosed nomination form for your use.  I also attach information leaflet on Committee Roles and Responsibilities.  The closing date to receive your nomination is 20th June 2013.  Please email directly to deji@thurrockafricangroup.org, or post to Secretary, 35A Clarence Road, Grays, Essex RM17 6QJ.

Please NOTE THAT you have to be a paid up member and have been attending meetings in order to be eligible to nominate for Executive post at the AGM.  I enclose a membership form for this purpose. This can be emailed to membership@thurrockafricangroup.org, or post to Secretary, 35A Clarence Road, Grays, Essex RM17 6QJ.  Membership subscription is £10 per annum .
