TAG Community Radio invites 11 to 18 Year Olds to join the Young People’s Radio Club, Broadcasting from Hassenbrook Academy School, Stanford-le-Hope, Essex
Welcome Young Person!
Here is where your radio adventure begins....
TAG Young People’s Radio Club is designed for youths, teenagers, and young adults, primarily aged 11 to 18, who are interested in radio broadcasting and want to participate in extracurricular events on weekends or weekdays.
TAG Radio Club aims to run from 11 am – 1 pm every Saturday for six months from January 2023. The Program will be supervised by experienced radio producers and presenters who have been DBS vetted and have previously worked with young people.
The Program aims to create exposure to the media world and the opportunity to venture into media production in the future, paving the way to get qualified as a professional broadcaster and studio engineer. We do not offer certifications but can point interested youths in the right direction.
Young people can find a safe environment, a kitchen, and a breakout area at the Studio. Light refreshments are offered. Everyone who has attended the Youth Club is welcome to join the volunteers weekly to run TAG-scheduled live shows.
